Tie-Tek Restraint Systems

The Tie Tech 700 Series restraint system was designed with safety and convenience in mind. This restraint system is fully floor mounted and can be installed in any vehicle, including buses and vans. Tie Tech's design features separate restraints for both passenger and mobility aid. This reduces the load on each segment. The position of the 700 Series is fully adjustable in 1 inch increments, on its floor mounted track system. The shoulder harness allows equal pressure on the passengers' upper torso. The lap belt and shoulder harness are secured into the track separately, and the two become one unit when fastened. The shoulder harness and lap belt assembly are comfortable, and easy to use. When the lap belt buckle is released, the two separate easily. In the event of an emergency, the passenger can be quickly released without releasing the mobility aid. The optional stanchion behind the passenger optimizes the shoulder harness function, saves space, and reduces the compression forces transmitted to the passenger in the event of an accident. The optional head rest, used in conjunction with the stanchion, is adjustable, and protects the passenger from recoil, due to sudden stops.
